PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds new Savage map "known as Sanhok" arrives on PC tonight for a third round of testing. Ahead of testing, developer PUBG Corp. He shared Steam's patch notes and revealed the long list of changes players will encounter in this iteration of the map.
Most notably, PUBG Corp has expanded Sanhok with four new areas: Cave, Tambang, Lakawi, Na Kham. Existing areas have also been renamed, and spots such as Bhan (formerly Banyan Grove) and Mongnai (Coconut Farm) have received "various improvements".
Additionally, PUBG Corp. Adjusted the drop rate of certain weapons on Sanhok. Specifically, PUBG Corp. It has increased the drop rate of M164 and AKM. The drop rate of the M416 has been slightly reduced.
PUBG Corp. also adjusted how the red zone works in Sanhok. This time the red zone will no longer appear in the white circle "in general". This may not be directly proportional, especially when the blue circle is very close to the white one, but the developer states that this change would be risky compared to playing outside the safe zone.
Finally, PUBG Corp has also addressed a handful of issues cropped up in previous incarnations of the map.
The third Sanhok test will begin tonight and will run until May 10 and May 14. This time, the test will be open to anyone who has played PUBG . To get in, all you have to do is download the Experimental Test Server client, which will automatically appear in your Steam library prior to testing.
