PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds continues to grow, and according to creator Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene, it could do it again with maps that are even larger than what's in the game. In an interview, Greene stated that he and the development team at PUBG Corp. may try larger maps (or smaller ones) in the future.
“We want to keep adding new battle maps/areas,” Greene said. "Now we know that 4x4 works really well on a small battlefield - maybe we can make more 4x4 maps, or we can even look to the future and even make larger maps instead of preserving those maps. Trying out the game mode and seeing what works well is a reference for our future work. point, it will be useful for better work."
