With the new DLC pack, Agent 47 travels to Haven Island, a corner of paradise.
While Hitman 2 got some new content this month in the form of Escalation contracts and weapon unlocks, developer IO Interactive has announced that the stealth action game is a new destination coming to Gold Edition or PC , PlayStation 4 and Xbox One Expansion pass holders. Haven Island, a tropical paradise in the Maldives, will be available on September 24 .
Haven Island is a brand new location where Agent 47 takes on a false identity to infiltrate the tropical island resort. The DLC will offer new missions and will be collected right after the events of the Milton-Fitzpatrick bank in New York. Haven Island will be unlocked with Hitman 2 's Expansion Pass or Gold Editionwill be accessible. Haven Island will be available with additional DLC at launch, including new missions, unlocking location dominance, and more. IOI will be doing a livestream on Monday, September 23 to detail everything on Haven Island ahead of its global release .
IO Interactive also stated that Hitman 3 may be announced in July 2020 . In a NoClip documentary, IOI CEO Hakan Abrak said while not strongly disapproving of one thing, the studio said "we're making future arrangements with new things we can work on and potentially new ideas."
