Halo MCC Continues to Oppose Microtransactions
Microsoft edited the word "buy", the details are in the article.
343 Industries recently published a blog post announcing a new update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which will allow players to "purchase" items from the game's Battle Pass-style progression system. The path has been changed and now the studio has added new microtransactions for the Master Chief Collection, but no real money. "There was a line in the interview where we talked about using season points to unlock. It was misunderstood that the word buy means money," 343's Tyler Davis wrote on Twitter. said. "We've updated the word 'buy' on the blog instead of 'unlock'." said.

The Master Chief Collection is a rare example of a big game without any microtransactions. Halo 5: Guardians has microtransactions with the Req system and Halo Infinite is expected to have business practice as well. The Season 2 update for The Master Chief Collection is coming soon with the arrival of Halo 3 on PC. The Season 2 update will make additional changes to the progression system and introduce new looks for Halo for the first time in 19 years, these are CE vehicles and weapons.
