In Classic WoW compared to Modern WoW, the choice of race can affect the gameplay experience, damage done by players, and some other factors. When we come to the Classic, you may realize that the choice of race is much more important. There are less race and class combinations, and each race's abilities are more diverse and powerful. As time went on, Blizzard lowered the power of some races and added new races, arranging most classes according to their benefits and damage. ♦ Human
Humans are one of the most preferred races among the Alliance. The biggest reason for this is that humans can have the most diverse combinations with classes compared to other races. Classes include mage, paladin, priest, rogue, warlock and warrior. Interestingly enough, hunter, which is playable for almost any race in modern WoW, is not a class for humans to choose from here. The racial traits of humans can be considered strong, although not as invincible as other races. Considering how long it takes to become famous in WoW Classic, it is quite advantageous in that respect.
Other racial traits have expertise in using maces and swords. These specializations increase the player's abilities on both one-handed and two-handed maces and swords to 5. For PvP games, there are Perception, which increases your stealth by up to 20 seconds, and The Human Spirit, which increases your spirit by up to 5%.
♦ Night Elf
Night elves can be druid, hunter, priest, rogue or warrior. Since they are the only race that can play as druid in Classic , if your class decision is druid, your race has already been determined. Night elves have an incredible ability called Shadowmeld. With Shadowmeld, which is similar to the "Vanish" feature of the Rogue class, it can instantly put players in stealth mode during combat. Unlike Rogues, you can't move without going out of stealth with this feature, but it's still a feature that will come in handy when trying to evade strong opponents. In addition to these, there is +10 resistance to nature as a racial trait. This bonus becomes incredibly important later in Classic , as all damage is natural after the Ahn'Qiraj invasion opens .

♦ Dwarf
Dwarves can choose hunter, paladin, priest, rogue and warrior classes. From the mini map, they can find nearby maps. They have +10 frost resistance, 5 bonus weapon abilities, and an extremely powerful defensive cooldown called Stoneform, which protects dwarves from bleeding, poisoning, and disease and strengthens their armor by 10% for 8 seconds.
Stoneform is a relatively powerful feature in PvP games. However, the best racial traits of dwarves in WoW Classic are Fear Ward, which is bestowed only on priests. This feature can protect a player against the next horror spell. In addition, Desperate Prayer allows the player to self-heal.
