Bethesda has released a teaser trailer for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus upon its release . It is positioned as somewhat of an employment advertisement and encourages you to join the resistance struggle to seize control of the United States from the Nazis.
Given the recent prominence of overt Nazi support in America, the anti-Nazi nature of the game has become more casual. As with previous marketing for the game, this new trailer doesn't hesitate to highlight that New Colossus is about killing Nazis (and at one point a KKK member) . We also see one of the giant enemies you will face.
More importantly, the trailer briefly punctuated the scene where we see Adolf Hitler enter a room. While the character has been mentioned numerous times in Machinegames' previous Wolfenstein series, he did not actually appear in them.
Wolfenstein II is out for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 27 . A Nintendo Switch version of The New Colossus has also been confirmed, but it won't be released until next year.
