Valorant Champions Tour Masters Berlin started on September 10th. Among the 16 teams participating from 7 regions, there are very ambitious teams such as our representative SuperMassive Blaze, Acend, 100 Thieves and Sentinels. Aiming to be the biggest international Valorant tournament ever , we feel like Valorant Masters Berlin has achieved their goal. ♦ SuperMassive Blaze 0-2 Acend
Our representative, SMB, made a somewhat difficult entrance to the tournament. Shocked first on the Bind map, the SMB team lost the first match 13-5. Although they were able to achieve the desired performance on the Ascent map in the second match, Acend continued the pressure and defeated SMB 13-9. Mehmet Yağız “cNed” İpek was the top scorer of this match with 22 kills and 5 assists. Acend posted a humorous tweet on the subject, stating that Turkish Valorant fans and SuperMassive Blaze fans were caught in the middle.

♦ G2 Esports 2-1 F4Q
Due to Bren Esports, which was missing in Group D due to visa problems, a different path was taken in the matchups. In group D, where there are 3 teams, there is an evaluation based on scoring. The first match of this group was also between G2 and F4Q.
In the struggle that started on the Ascent map, G2 got the reward of the pressure they put on from the beginning of the match and finished the first match as the winner with a score of 13-2. Cista “keloqz” Wassim was the top scorer with 18 kills and 1 assist in the first game. The second match was much more competitive. On the Bind map, F4Q had a tremendous series and defeated G2 13-9. Yoo “fiveK” Sung-min was the top scorer of this match with 22 kills and 7 assists. In the third round, G2 started Haven 7-5 and closed this map 13-8, maintaining the lead. Now the South Korean team F4Q will continue the match from the lower matches.
♦ 100 Thieves 2-0 Mortar Liberty
This fight also showed that 100 Thieves made a good start to the tournament. Starting with the Ascent map, the team showed a super performance in the first match and defeated Havan Liberty 13-3. The 100T, which did not spoil its performance, failed Havan Liberty's efforts in the second map, Icebox, and finished the first day as the leader by winning 13-6. The top scorers of this match were Ethan “Ethan” Arnold with 16 kills and Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk with 22 kills.
♦ Vision Strikers 2-0 Paper Rex
The first match played on the second day of VCT Masters Berlin was between VS and Paper Rex. They established a dominance as soon as Vision Strikers started their first map, Haven. Continuing this superiority until the end of the match, VS finished the first map with a 13-9 win. When the second map Icebox started, Paper Rex made an aggressive start and closed the first half 9-3. However, they could not continue this performance until the end and were defeated with a score of 13-11. Vision Strikers will rival Acend in the next round. Paper Rex, on the other hand, ran into our representative SuperMassive Blaze in the lower matches.
♦ Gambit Esports 2-0 Crazy Raccoon
VCT Challengers EMEA Champion We've all been eagerly awaiting the first game of Gambit Esports. Especially when their rivals are the Japanese representatives, Crazy Raccoon returning for the rematch. Gambit did not let Crazy Raccoon breathe in the first map Bind and closed the game 13-1. Unfortunately, the situation did not change in the second map, Icebox. Gambit Esports paired up with 100 Thieves, who won the game 2-0 in a landslide 12-1, and Crazy Raccoon paired up with Havan Liberty. We know that all teams have been successful, but we wish extra patience to whoever is facing Gambit.
♦ ENVY 2-0 Vivo Keyd
In the last match of VCT Masters Berlin Day 2, Vivo Keyd made a surprising start on the Icebox map. This match, which caused ENVY to sweat, took the match to overtime and ended 15-13. Bind, the second map of this fierce struggle, passed in the same way. Even though ENVY won 2-0 at the end of the day, we can say that Vivo Keyd fought to the last drop of blood. We heartily congratulate them.
♦ KRU Esports 2-1 ZETA DIVISON
On Ascent, the first map of the match, KRU took ZETA in their palms and won 11 rounds in the first half. Although ZETA tried to make turns in the second half, the first half ended 13-8. It can be said that we saw a different face of ZD in the second map Split. KRU made a good start to the map and won 7 rounds in the first half and all rounds in the second half without slowing down and won the second match 13-5. The first third map is unlocked at Masters Berlin and KRU is making a comeback in Bind. KRU won the series 13-7 despite all the efforts of ZETA. KRU won a direct route to the final as the winner of Group B.
♦ Sentinels 2-1 G2 Esports
G2 Esports, which we saw last as EMEA fourth place, had an extremely strong competitor. Since VCT Stage 3 began, the Challengers 1 North America and Stage 2 Masters champions, the Sentinels, have put on an incredible performance, literally. In the first map, Split, the Sentinels broke a sweat when they got to the second map, showing their reputation with a comfortable 13-6 win. He did what no one else could on the Icebox map, where G2 showed up, breaking the Sentinels' win streak and beating them 13-8. It didn't take long for the Sentinels to recover and they beat G2 13-8 on the third map to break the tie, Haven. Congratulations to both teams.
♦ 100 Thieves 2-1 Gambit Esports
Since the most anticipated matches of VCT Masters Berlin, it was undoubtedly the fight between EMEA champion Gambit and North American runner-up 100 Thieves. From the first minutes of the first map Ascend, a fierce battle ensued. After the first half ended 7-5, Gambit took the attack and 13-5 became the winner of the first map. When it was Icebox's turn, Gambit blockaded 100T before it got cold and started with an overwhelming 11-3 lead. It didn't take long for 100 Thieves to make a comeback, however. And what a return! Winning 10 consecutive rounds, 100T won the second map 13-11. In the third map Split, 100 Thieves made a dominant start and closed this map 13-10. 100 Thieves thusbecame the first team determined to make it to the VCT Masters Playoffs .

♦ Vision Strikers 2-0 Acend
South Korean team Vision Strikers showed that they are one of the teams underestimated at VCT Masters Berlin . In the first map, Haven, the team took the first half 7-5, even though Acend won two rounds in the second half, they ended the match with 13-7. Moving on to the second map, Icebox, VS took 5 consecutive rounds without relieving the pressure it put on. Although Acend tried very hard to turn the game from there, Vision Strikers became the first South Korean team to qualify for the playoffs by winning the second game with a 13-9 result. We congratulate Vision Strikers, who dropped Acend to the lower matches, and Acend, who has come up to this point with a tremendous performance.
♦ ENVY 2-0 KRU Esports
The first match started at Icebox with ENVY winning consecutive rounds. KRU made a great effort and managed to close the first half with a 6-6 tie. Even though KRU started strong in the second half, ENVY closed the first match to 13-9. When we got to the second map, Ascent, ENVY relentlessly finished the game in a short time and became the second North American to qualify for the playoffs with a 13-2 win.
♦ Sentinels 2-0 F4Q
It was predicted to be an easy win for the Sentinels between these two teams facing each other for the first time, but F4Q proved to be a formidable opponent. The first half of the first match that started in Split ended with the 7-5 Sentinels superiority. Then, despite all the pressure from F4Q, the match ended 12-9. From the Sentinels, where we came to the second map Breeze, TenZ monopolized the match. With 32 kills alone, TenZ won the team 13-4 and the Sentinels closed the game 2-0.

On Bind, the first map of the match, G2 made a quick exit and finished the first match in a short time. G2, who easily won the first match, closed the map in the form of 13-3. Likewise, the situation did not change in the second map, Ascent. G2 did not lose anything from its performance and ended the match 13-3.
♦ Vivo Keyd 2-0 ZETA DIVISON
On the first map of the match, Breeze, Brazil's best team, Vivo Keyd, did not hesitate to put all their strength into play and the first match quickly ended 13-3 in favor of VK. Vivo Keyd, who did not slow down in the second map Split, sent off the Japanese team ZETA DIVISION with a 13-4 victory in the lower matches.
♦ Crazy Raccoon 2-0 Havan Liberty
Crazy Raccoon gave a performance that surprised everyone. Crazy Raccoon won 13-9 on the first map Haven, 9-3 on the second map Split in the first half and won the match 13-8.
Quarterfinals will be played on 17 September, semi-finals will be played on 18 September, and finals will be played on 19 September on the last day of the tournament at Valorant Champions Tour Masters Berlin .
