Warzone Pacific Season 2 Patch Notes

Raven Software and Activision shared most of the information about Warzone Pacific Season 2 with players. While the community has been patiently waiting to land on the Caldera to pick up the KG M40 assault rifle and fight the armored trucks, the developer has detailed all the changes made through an extensive list of patch notes.

Numerous bug fixes plus widespread weapon tweaks are expected for issues affecting players throughout Season 1, with full details of the Warzone Pacific Season 2 patch notes below.

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 Patch Notes

Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Season 2 comes with new content and overall quality of life improvements. Prepare for some heavy weapons.

GAMEPLAY

Updated Contract distribution in Battle Royale, Vanguard Royale, and Plunder modes to better support Bounties.

• An update has been made to get better rewards in Battle Royale, Vanguard Royale and Plunder modes.
• Gulag Loadout tweaks:
  - Removed stun grenades
  - Added gas grenades, medical syringes and termites

BUG FIXES

• Fixed collision issues with various items in the Caldera allowing players to exploit/spy/shoot on these items.
• Fixed an issue causing higher than intended Max/Medium/Min damage values ​​for the PPSh-41 (VG).
• Fixed an issue that caused players to freeze in the early stages of a match.
• Fixed an issue that caused certain Weapon Camos to not be used when exiting the Weapons tab in the main menu.
• Fixed an issue causing Infinite Nebula V rounds to be applied to primary Weapons.

• Fixed an issue causing the HUD to display punches returning from the Gulag when a Player actually has a Weapon.
• Fixed an issue that allowed players to return from the Gulag with their full, original Equipment.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the Assault Rifle Charlie's (VG) Chariot 18" Rapid barrel from properly adjusting the Recoil behavior.
• Fixed an issue that prevented Sten (VG) from exhibiting the intended Kickback behavior.

• Fixed an issue that caused the Assault Rifle Charlie's (VG) Cooper 21” Scythe Barrel to incorrectly increase head damage and reduce body damage.
• Fixed an issue that corrected the War Shield's orientation when exiting a loot chest.
• Fixed an issue that caused Weapon Loot Cards to display the wrong number of attachments for some Vanguard weapons.
• Fixed multiple issues causing it to display social contacts playing the wrong title.
• Fixed an issue where mouse search for keyboard and mouse on console would not work.
• Fixed the Dynamic Resolution Framerate Target not displaying the appropriate value.
• Fixed an issue that caused some Players to experience keyboard and mouse after purchasing at the Buying Station.

PPSh-41 (VG)

• Neck Damage Multiplier increased from 1.1 to 1.3.

Warzone Season 2 BattlePass is powered by incredible value, from dozens of free items in the Battle Pass System to Legendary content across all 100 Tiers:

EVENTS

Search and Deploy

The source of Nebula V production was determined. Operators may infiltrate at their own risk. This Event is divided into several phases that will begin in the coming weeks. With the launch, players can expect to see:

• New Caldera Clash Limited Time Mode
• Discoverable POIs including the Chemical Factory and various underground Chemical Weapons Research Laboratories
• Enemy AI threats defending new POIs
• New gameplay elements including Portable Decontamination Station and Nebula V tours
• And much more to come!

MODS

Caldera Clash

This new Clash game pits two teams of up to 48 Operators against each other in a Deathmatch featuring crazy events and power-ups. Operators come in with a Custom Loadout and a Field Upgrade that can have any weapon from all three episodes. Each kill earns their team one point, the first team to reach a certain point, or the team with the most points when the time limit expires, claims victory for their large group.

Rebirth Iron Trials

The fan favorite mode “Iron Trials” makes a spectacular return, this time to Rebirth Island!

At its core, Rebirth Iron Trials is a Battle Royale game mode; The last team standing wins, Circle Collapse shrinks the playable area to increase interactions, and those who die earlier in the game have a chance to be respawned if they win a duel in the Rebirth Island Gulag.

But Iron Trials brings a lot of fundamental changes to this traditional Battle Royale formula. All of this is aimed at giving players a chance to prove themselves as truly outstanding Operators. The mod will be released on March 3, until then we will share more detailed information with you.

Caldera Resurgence

The Resurgence game mode we all know and love returns to Caldera with additional improvements, now with unlimited access to all Operators and Weapon Builds. The mod will be released on March 23, until then we will share more detailed information with you.

Battle Royale Adjustments

We're removing Battle Royale and going back to basics for Warzone Season 2 . We want Battle Royale and Vanguard Royale to each have their own distinct identity. To achieve this, we focus on what makes these rule sets unique… the tools we provide our players, pacing, objectives, etc.

Vanguard Royale Adjustments

We were really pleased with the responses and feedback on Vanguard Royale, there were a lot of emotions highlighting how the mode is fresh and different from the core Battle Royale experience. However, we want to tap into these differentiators and spread the two modes to offer more variety in how players choose to experience Warzone.

Loadout Drops

• It sped up the initial Loadout Drop event from the start of Circle 2 to when Circle 1 only started closing in Vanguard Royale.
• No Stun Grenades on Charges (restricted)
• Termites allowed on uploads (unlimited)

MAP

Chemical Factory

This newly named Chemistry Factory has a similar layout to the one it replaces, but with some key differences, including enemy soldiers guarding the facility and a trap that can be set up in the headquarters. From the main factory floor to the watchtowers with impressive sightlines over the plant and its surroundings, there are a few more interiors to explore. The river runs green with the byproduct of Nebula V, but it is completely harmless.

Underground Chemical Weapons Research Laboratories

Seven research laboratories are scattered around the Caldera and can be seen on the Crown Map with hand-drawn yellow circles. These locations have high-value Equipment items, including Gas Masks and Nebula V Ammo.

GENERAL

Before we move on to specific Gameplay additions and changes, we would like to summarize some changes that apply to the entire game:

• Applied an increase to Weapon XP gain rates.
• Vanguard Weapons can be registered as a "Special Mod" in Loadouts.
• Updated 5 default Equipment.
• The amount of cash players collect through loot has decreased overall.

GAMEPLAY

♦ New features

Redeploy Balloon

These allow Players to tactically reposition themselves to move into new areas. These can be destroyed or repaired for a small fee. Side note, we recommend releasing the steering wheel if you're flying nearby.

NPC Defense Threats

These new AI units can be found in various new locations, including the guard towers surrounding the new Chemistry Factory and Underground Labs.

Portable Decontamination Station (PDS)

The stations create a breathable bubble of air while on the gas, which lasts 13 seconds. These can be mounted on the vehicle for new gameplay strategies, but they will reveal your map location, so use them wisely.

Nebula V Rounds

This new ammunition gives players the ability to kill enemies and release a small cloud of gas that can be used with any weapon type for lots of interesting combinations.

Armored Convoys

These Armored Transport Trucks patrolling the Caldera represent a new mobile loot cache opportunity and are displayed on the Crown Map when active.

Nebula V Bombs

One of the rarest items in Warzone, this is a locked briefcase filled with an explosive charge, deadly gas. This bomb will explode after a fixed countdown and cannot be disarmed or destroyed. His first detonation deals a high amount of damage in a small radius before the gas disperses outside, dealing damage to any Operator without a Gas Mask there.

Anna Drake

Access Anna Drake to use in Warzone at Level 0 in the Season Two Battle Pass and progress all the way to the Legendary “White Mirage” Skin at Level 100.

Gustavo Dos Santos

Access Gustavo Dos Santos as part of the Season Two Store Pack offers, which will be detailed at a later date.

PC users will also need an additional 23GB of space on their hard drive for patch copying; this is only temporary space that is reclaimed after patch installation is complete and is not an additional download. Remember, a Vanguard download is not required if you're only playing Warzone , and vice versa.

Also, for a smaller overall file size , players can choose to remove other data packs as they are no longer needed.
