The highly anticipated year-end tournament , Valorant World Championship 2022 , kicked off yesterday with four of the sixteen teams participating in the opening matches. Day 1 of the tournament ended with Leviatán and Paper Rex beating Team Liquid and EDward Gaming in the Group A stage.
Teams from Group B will face each other today. The group stage is played in a double elimination format. Therefore, each team needs to do their best at this stage and protect their chances as much as possible.
Valorant Champions 2022 Istanbul Group Stage Day 2 started with a show of strength. BOOM Esports went up against OpTic Gaming and won on the first map. LOUD defeated ZETA DIVISION 2-0. Leviatánqualified for the VCT Champions 2022 Istanbul Playoffs after defeating Paper Rex.

Leviatán stole the show by beating Paper Rex with a flawless 2-0 win and took their place in the upcoming VCT Champions 2022 Istanbul Playoffs.
OpTic Gaming lost the first map in overtime against BOOM Esports. However, Round 2 and Round 3 went well and defeated BOOM Esports 2-1. OpTic Gaming VCT Champions, who qualified for the next round with this win, is one step closer to participating in the 2022 Istanbul Playoffs.
LEV "adverso" is performing terrific in the first map Heaven and throwing trouble.

The PRX "mindfreak" is an absolutely scary Astra player. In Haven (map one), he entered the C-site on turn 10 and was able to take down both enemies defending him. He continued to quadruple his double kills and dominated the round for his team.
LOUD “Saadhak” knocked down four players of ZETA DIVISION. On the shard, he eliminated two in zone B and then made his way to zone A, where he picked up the other two kills.

LOUD “Less” plays Chamber, positioning himself perfectly on the A-main and connecting with the first Operator hit. Quickly shifting to the Headhunter, Less destroyed another enemy and was able to fire a secondary shot at the two players who had brought him together.
