In a game like Valorant , balancing Agents isn't the only issue Riot developers have to constantly worry about.
As well as agents, weapons also need to be tweaked periodically, truth be told sometimes they feel more important than abilities. And according to Riot's updates, it looks like the developers are introducing patches that weaken weapons.
In Patch 1.06 , the Valorant developers introduced a patch that weakened the shotgun in the game, and this was a very necessary change, as weapons like Judge and Shorty were getting a little too powerful in the hands of certain high-mobility Agents. Like Jett and Raze .
However, while some weapons have undergone balance changes in Valorant , others have yet to see any changes since their closed beta days. And the most "corrupted" weapon in the game is the Operator , which is by far Valorant's most oppressive weapon, especially on the defensive side .
The overpowered design of the operator isn't exactly because it's easy to use, but really; The weapon is quite difficult to master and very similar to the AWP in CS: GO, it needs a considerable amount of skill to use it.
But Valorant's Operator is broken due to the lack of an in-game utility/program . In a very recent video, FOS god and popular streamer Michael " Shroud " Grzesiek seems to agree. Explaining why the Operator weapon is useless, as you can watch in the video above, Shroud thinks that a weapon like the Operator does not belong to Valorant.
