Valorant players expressed their dissatisfaction after seeing the price of the new EGO skin pack. Although the bundle comes at a cost of 7100 VP , it looks like it offers very little to the player.
For comparison, 7100 VP is not a small amount of money. Calculated in dollars, in Valorant players can purchase in-game currency (Valorant Points) at a rate of 1000 for $9.99. Typically, the more you buy at once, the better deal you'll get. For $19:99 you get 2050, at $49.99 players can buy $5350 and for $99.99 you get 11000. To buy this bundle at the cheapest price, you'll need to spend $69.98, leaving you 300 Valorant Points.

In a now-deleted Reddit post, one player said: "We've been seeing a drop in quality or options in weapon skins lately, but still have the same prices as packs with the most customization options. Ego skins look nice, but invest the same money in another pack and much more. knowing that you can get too much customization falls short."
The user then goes into comparisons with previous packs, and the 7100 VP price point is often associated with visual effects, animations, finishers, etc. It is worth noting that it depends on the packages offered. From a player's perspective, it looks like Riot is trying to normalize higher prices with fewer offers.
