Riot Games brings tactical shooter Valorant to mobile devices. First released on June 2, 2021, Valorant celebrated its first anniversary today. Valorant, which has made quite a splash since its debut, reaching more than 14 million users and more than half a billion game hours, has achieved excellent work in a short time. Riot, which has achieved great success in the mobile game market, which has increased in the last few years, such as League of Runettera, Teamfight Tactics and Wild Rift, stated that the next project will be Valorant and they want to see the same competitive experience in the mobile version.
Valorant executive producer Anna Donlon had this to say about the project:
We will not offer a below-average mobile experience for mobile gamers, nor will we compromise on the PC experience. We are not trying to convert Valorant PC players to Valorant Mobile players or vice versa. We are absolutely committed to keeping the PC experience intact or at a higher level of quality and will not compromise to cater to the mobile market.

The Valorant Mobile release news was already leaked by data miners recently, but since Riot Games did not make any statements on the subject, it was not considered to be a share of truth. Clarifying the issue in its first-year announcement, the developer company has started a study to migrate Valorant from PC to mobile phones, but they will not continue the project if any of the items in the checklist are absent, because Valorant not only needs to be a port for phones, but also stated that they aim to provide a unique mobile experience.

As part of giving each platform its own best experience, executive producer Donlon explained that Riot currently has no plans to cross-play between the two versions of the game. The company did not specify a specific Valorant Mobile release date, but said that it is likely to come to its second anniversary.
