Valorant Could Coming to MAC

Valorant Could Coming to MAC
Valorant is a challenging e-sports game, although it may seem easy. With the release of Apple's M1 chip, the performance of MacOS computers has improved.
Within months of its launch, Valorant has managed in a very short time to become one of the most popular E-sports games in the world right nowThe game is played by millions of players around the world every day, because its " easy to learn, hard to master " nature attracts everyone. Riot Games has been developing, editing, supporting the game since its release and promises to do so in the coming years. The game is currently only playable on computers with Windows operating system. Apple's M1 chip has significantly increased the power of MacOS computers. Its other popular game , League of Legends , is one of the most played games on Apple's hardware. Moreover, Riot Games gamesIt releases it as an individual app that doesn't need any distribution company like  Steam or Epic games.

System Requirements for Valorant

It is possible to run Valorant on certain Mac devices . However, there is currently no playable MacOS version of Valorant . Officially Windows only. Valorant 's minimum feature requirements are:
  • CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400
  • GPU: Intel HD 4000
  • RAM: 4GB

The newly introduced 1st Gen Apple silicon chipset for Mac users, the M1 chip, is drastically different from all previous macOS hardware. It integrates a 5nm Octa-core ARM processor with an octa-core GPU and Unified Memory Architecture, along with a custom neural engine for machine learning. Basically, it's an entire system with CPU, GPU, and RAM on a single chip. Based on raw power, the M1 might look like it could run Valorant , but raw power isn't everything.

Could Valorant Coming to Mac?

One of the reasons the M1 is so drastically different from its predecessors is that it's built on a different ARM architecture rather than an x86 architecture. ARM is based on RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) while x86 is based on CISC (Complex Instruction Set Computing). Valorant can only run natively on an x86 CPU with a Windows operating system. Apple implemented a program called Rosetta 2 to emulate x86 apps on ARM. Since modern consoles also have an x86 architecture, porting the game to a console may be easier than porting the game to macOS. Since a mobile phone chipset is made on the ARM architecture, it will be easier to port games developed for mobile phones to a Mac.

Valorant, may or may not come for macOS by development teams in the future. Even if it was developed for macOS, it now has to be built from the ground up for a completely different architecture. Until then, you can get the best performance on an x86 computer running Windows.
