Unreal Engine 5 was first released in early access in 2020 and is slowly starting to make strides to establish itself as one of the most popular game engines on the market. Building on a legacy spanning over two decades, Epic Games' engine has played a monumental role in defining the look of video games for several generations and will continue to do so, given the list of games that have been confirmed to use UE5.
Most games confirmed to use Unreal Engine 5 are still in development and will take some time to come out. Others have yet to reveal the version of the engine they are using, and it remains mysterious until their release.
