Rockstar announced new content in store for Grand Theft Auto V this week . Along with the usual party of discounts and prizes, GTA Online 's biggest addition is the much-anticipated Transform Races, a new Stunt Race mode that players will launch today.
Throughout a Transform Races , your vehicle will constantly change depending on the terrain as bikes, cars, planes and more. The conversion happens automatically when you reach a certain point. Transform Races also introduces a new type of checkpoint called Warps that will instantly transport you to a different place on the map.
Transform Races features 15 brand new Rockstar Created Races episodes; The developer has announced a mod called " Race Creator " where you can create your own race, which will be added this fall. To celebrate the mod's launch, all players participating on Thursday, October 26 will receive double GTA$ and RP bonuses.
In addition to Transform Races , players can earn twice as much GTA$ and RP from Lamar's Communication Missions this week. A number of Smuggler's Run drones are also on sale, as are superclass cars and some upgrades. Players can get 25% off the following:
As always, all participating players will earn triple the amount of RP, while those who finish in the top three will receive a substantial GTA$ reward. It will run until October 23.
