Transform Races mode for GTA 5 Online is releasing next week!

We wanted to give you the good news first for those who buy Grand Theft Auto V , a new mode is coming to the online game, starting October 17 , GTA Online players  will have a new type of racing that Rockstar describes as " the next development of Stunt Racing ".  They will be able to participate in Transform Races . 

Unlike a typical Stunt Race , during a Transform Race your vehicle will alternate between bikes, airplanes and more depending on the terrain.  As you can see in the trailer below , these transformations happen instantly when you reach a certain point in the race that should be consistently surprising.


 

On top of the Transforming tools, Transform Races adds a new type of checkpoint called  Warps . This will instantly take you to a different spot on the map, Rockstar says " will feature a wide variety of new Stunt Race types" and in this new mode you'll be driving an armored vehicle while instantly switching to a bike ride or a plane.

Transform Races will be available next week with the  GTA V update. Until then  , you can enjoy a handful of vehicles and upgrades discounts, along with a weekly bonus of  GTA Online that includes the new Buckingham Pyro plane . Following Transform Races , there are new Condemnedand Dogfight modes that GTA Online players  are looking forward to, both of which will be added to the game in the "coming months"  .
