Publisher Sega describes the creatures as "myriad species living in vast underground lairs." He continues: "Now, the times of prophecy have come upon us, and this treacherous race has emerged to spread sorrow and turmoil in the face of the New World."
The Skaven are High Elves, Dark Elves, and Lizardmen as a playable race. Another, Norscans, was recently released as a pre-order bonus, and you'll be able to purchase them separately if you don't pre-order.
Creative Assembly has announced plans to release an update that combines maps from the previous Warhammer and Warhammer II campaigns, which both players will have for free . This will come out shortly after Warhammer II 's release and will support Norscans along with other races from base games and all other DLC races.
Warhammer II was released for PC on September 28.Developer Creative Assembly has assured that fans are working on a new historical Total War: Warhammer II game. More recently, the developer has revealed a new set of Total War games called Total War Sagas .
