Temtem , an early access PC Pokemon- style MMO , recently received a major update that expands the endgame. Update 0.5.12 introduces Saipark, a new arena that is very similar to the iconic Safari Zone in the original Pokemon games Red and Blue. The Safari Zone lets you roam and catch Pokemon without a fight, many of which can only be found within the zone's boundaries. Temtem now has a similar custom location that is slightly different from the rest of the game.
Open to endgame players, Saipark is a natural reserve that will host two different Temtem species each week. These creatures will have special abilities - they have a higher chance of becoming Lumas, or they may have egg moves or guaranteed minimum LV's.
Players will need to buy special Temcards called Saicards for the park . These will fill up by the end of the week and will only work within the park. There is a fee to enter the park, and the price will increase each time they buy a card during the week. For players who spend a lot of time in Temtem, it's a good way to catch some interesting creatures.
A Player Vault has also been added to the game, which can be accessed from a large Temporium and used for additional storage. You can keep your items in the vault between resets, and items used with promo codes now go straight there.
Improvements
Stat phase modifiers have been reworked to speed up animations. Instead of using an animation for each stat change, all stat changes for a Temtem are now merged into the same animation.
The Select and Ban screen now maintains the appropriate color based on which player is first (blue) and which is second (orange). Before this change, each player would see themselves with the color of the first player.
Competitive battle screen now shows the speed arrow holder.
The battle screen will now show separate Temcards for each player while in a co-op party.
Balance
Total Luma ratio reduced from 1/6000 to 1/8000.
It reduced the overall selling price of the products from 70% to 50% of their value. Only sellable items are unaffected by this change (silicones, crystals, and sea salts).
Telomere Hacks will now reduce the affected Temtem fertility by 1 (if there is no fertility left in Temtem, the addition of SV will still be applied and the fertility reduction will be ignored).
They changed some of the tints that can be found as selectable for other more useful items during the campaign.
Fixes
Fixed the issue where Quetzal was exiting the Dojo puzzle.
Fixed several co-op stuck situations in battles.
Fixed the issue of getting stuck in the prison quest while in co-op after a breakup.
Fixed progress being corrected after selecting items while in a co-op party (or after party dissolution).
Fixed the issue where you could not see the co-op partner's actions while experiencing severe lag.
Fixed a visual bug when quickly holding a technique on the stamina bar before using it.
Fixed players seeing friends with old cosmetics after a reset.
Fixed getting stuck inside tables after disconnecting while sitting next to it.
Fixed an issue where a dialog and your partner would get stuck when messing up.
Fixed an issue where a player would get stuck on the Lift of Omninesia after disbanding their co-op party.
Fixed character reset not working properly and players not having a null character and getting stuck on some interactions (starting, entering battle…).
Fixed incorrect camera angle after cutting Temtem with Haito Uchi.
Fixed incorrect behavior when releasing a Temtem and catching a new one in the same order.
Fixed the issue of getting stuck behind some NPCs.
