Riot Games' Valorant releases some of the most impressive weapon cosmetics in every patch.
For the upcoming Act 3, Riot has unveiled the first "Special" weapon skin pack called Singularity , along with Ruin, Jade , and Electroflux cosmetics that can be unlocked via the Battle Pass .
After all this, a question arose in the minds of the players; But if Riot continues to release skins frequently, will the store eventually become overcrowded?
Moreover, the current in-store checkout system isn't that much appreciated by fans, as the Valorant store only offers 4 skins to display, and the collection is changing day by day. As such, many in the Valorant community feel that in the future Riot may need to change large parts of the way the store works.
In a recent Reddit post, a Valorant player following AstroForMorons started a very interesting discussion about how the Valorant store could be oversaturated in its current path.
The user writes:
"Lately I've been thinking about the future of Valorant and what I'd like to see, and something that interests me and that no one has talked about that I think needs to be addressed is the Valorant store."
"Right now in Valorant, skins are arriving daily and there are only 4 skins to choose from and if we don't have the product we are looking for, you have to wait a day for the reset"
"My issue and the main thing I'm trying to understand is what will happen during future Ignitions and what will happen when we see that there will be an oversupply of skins in the store."
"When we have hundreds of weapon skins in the game and only 4 options per day (28 per week), I feel like a lot of old stuff like Elderflame, prime, oni , etc. will be lost in time."
"Personally, in the future, having more daily options in the Store might fix this a bit."
The idea that AstroForMorons has put forward for the Valorant store is quite an interesting take, and we can see that this can become a problem when there are too many cosmetic packages in the store.
