Minor bug fixes were provided with the update.

EA released Star Wars Battlefront II late last year. But they didn't stop the development of the original Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005), either. The classic game received a new update 12 years after its release.

Disney has announced that it includes things like minor bug fixes and improved lobby functionality. Steam usernames should now display correctly in game, ping calculations will be more accurate going forward.

Star Wars Battlefront II received an update in late October when online multiplayer support that had been shut down years ago was reinstated. Also added cross-play support between GOG and Steam users.

Also, two new maps and new hero characters have been added.
