Global investor rights Rosen Law Firm announced that it has filed a class action lawsuit against CD Projekt between January 16 and December 17 , 2020, for violating federal securities laws . After Cyberpunk 2077 was unplayable on old-generation consoles and CD Projekt released the game as "Completed", the company was sued for making false statements in order to gain financial benefit.
The New York Times reported that investors in Poland are also considering taking legal action against the company, and Rosen Law Firm has requested that investors interested in joining the lawsuit contact the firm.
The fact that there were many errors in the game and that it was 'almost unplayable' on the current generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles were among the issues that the bureau particularly emphasized. As a matter of fact, Sony has recently removed the game from the PlayStation Store .
