Riot Games discovered a bug where a player's custom settings, mounts, and reticles were reverting to default, and on top of that, developers disabled Valorant Ranked Queues to fix the bug affecting settings and keybindings .
Valorant is an FPS game that requires the use of multiple keys when skill and shooting are both equally important, and customizing settings and keybindings is an important part of Valorant. Each player has personal preferences for the control scheme and how the crosshair will appear on the screen. Any minor changes to these settings can significantly impair the player's muscle memory, potentially causing them to lose ammo or gunfights.
You may have seen your crosshair, key binding, and other saved settings being reset.

We know your custom settings are key to the competitive experience. We're disabling ranked queues temporarily until we can get the settings issue resolved.

Temporarily removing ranked queues will help prevent the bug from affecting the rankings or results of important matches. While the Valorant community is discussing this issue, some players say that there is no need to disable ranked queues, while some players think that the right decision has been made to eliminate this inconvenience.
Riot Games had similarly disabled Sequential Modes to fix an audio bug it encountered in the past, and within a few hours it found the source of the bug and fixed it. Likewise, we believe that this error will be resolved in a short time.
