Since the game's closed beta , it's long been a dream for Valorant players to practice with a goal while matchmaking. The percentage of players willing to train while in line was above average. Mixwell ( professional player) from G2 Esports expressed his opinion on the matter in a tweet.
Hello @PlayVALORANT , it would be awesome if you can include this ASAP.

- Shooting range while being in queue.
- Elo system in Radiant like in League of Legends.
- Coach spots in private games.
- Rework Viper's ultimate.
Type "thank mr.Valorant" to make this happen.
"Having access to the training ground or any training can really help players warm up before their competitive play. Since turn times take so long to find a match at high elos, getting their wrists warm and battle-ready is definitely a good use of player's time."
We're back with another Ask VALORANT. This week, you asked about in-game pauses, sharing crosshair settings, and if you'll ever be able to play on the practice range while queuing. The answers await at https://t.co/ZS5djXwYXX . pic.twitter.com/4bu3fUqvjo

Riot Games touches on a lot of details about their "queue practice system" in their recently released Ask Valorant #9.
One question asked was:
"Will we be able to play on the training ground as we line up?"
Riot Games replied:
"A system where you can practice while queuing is possible, but we were reluctant to implement it"
"The reason is this: A Practice match is currently worth a standard 5v5 match to be processed by the server. In short, we prefer to conserve our server's processing power for competitive matches."
Riot Games says adding an app to the Valorant queue is not efficient for their servers. However, he states that with a simpler application system, a system that can enable you to exercise while in line can be introduced.
