Riot Games introduced the new champion of LoL, Zaun's Spark Zeri . Gone are the days of the Ruination story, with themed releases like Viego, Gwen, and Akshan; Say hello to the new Arcane characters now. Last season, every champion reveal was about Viego, Gwen, Akshan, and Vex all about the Shadow Isles, the Guardians of Light, and the Ruined King's quest to turn the world upside down. While it's currently unclear whether Zeri will kick off a year full of Zaun-related champions, it's possible considering the region has been under scrutiny since Arcane 's launch last fall.

The abilities of the new LoL character Zeri have not been announced yet, but leaks say that he is a shooter and has also released a brief statement about his powers.
Zeri, a headstrong, lively young woman from the working class of Zaun, uses her electric magic to recharge herself and her custom-made weapon. Her volatile power reflects her emotions, her sparks reflect her lightning-fast approach to life. Extremely compassionate towards others, Zeri brings the love of her family and home into every fight. While the urge to help can sometimes backfire, Zeri believes one truth is certain: Stand up for your community and it will stand up with you.
This reveal shows that Zeri will be a mobile, electric-themed ADC with fast attacks and moves. Of course, we'll have to wait for Riot to reveal its full set to know exactly what it's capable of.
Zeri's champion page also reveals that she is from Zaun and her only champion currently involved is Ekko. While there's no way of knowing for sure, this certainly seems to imply that she could be an important part of Arcane season 2 , or at least a part of her life in Zaun with her family of misfits that Ekko protects and manages.

League of Legends new champion Zeri will arrive in January 2022 with the LoL 12.2 patch . According to Riot's lead champion producer Ryan "Reav3" Mirales, the new Runeterra character was originally scheduled for release in late 2021 to tie into Arcane's premiere event, but "development changes" have since pushed that timeframe back.
