Statistics show that the popular battle royale game PUBG Mobile has moved up three places to the fourth place in the " app of the month" category on the App Store . In addition, PUBG Mobile continues to remain popular among survival games , with gross revenue of more than $259 million, as the second highest-paid mobile game in January 2021 .

PUBG Mobile lost the " best game " crown in August to Join Clash 3D , which reached 27 million downloads in January 2021 . About half of their total downloads; 38.3% came from two countries, India and 6.4% Indonesia. This figure is 3,300 times more than the January 2020 downloads of the game published by Supersonic Studios.
Among Us , published by Innersloth , dropped to second place with 26 million downloads in January 2021, which is 37% less than December 2020 and 20 times higher than January 2020. The US contributed the most downloads, taking over 15% of total uploads; Brazil ranked 2nd, accounting for 8% of total downloads. Although there has been a steep drop in downloads since its peak of around 83 million in September, the game remains hugely popular.

Another popular battle royale game , Call of Duty Mobile , rose to third place in the App Store 's " top 10 most downloaded list ".
