Payload Mode is a game mode similar to the classic battle royale mode in PUBG Mobile, but with a few changes. This mod is only available on the Erangel map. Certain buildings, called Defensive Fortresses, which are locked in the early stages of the game, do not allow players to enter, randomly appear on the map.
After a while, Strongholds are unlocked, after which teams of players can rush to capture the building. These buildings offer high-level loot, special armor called the Bomb Suit, and a helicopter for a quick escape. The Bomb Suit greatly increases the player's stamina, making them immune to high damage and explosions from projectiles such as grenades. However, it also slows players' speed in exchange for added stamina.
In Payload Mode, the map includes unique weapons such as RPGs and Grenade Launchers. They spawn just like regular loot and players can carry them. Military Base and Prison have secret rooms that players can access after detonating the door with explosive weapons.
Also, spawn helicopters are available at major locations on the map such as School, Pochinki, and Military Base. According to the official announcement, there has been strong demand from players on various social media to bring the mod back, and Payload Mod 2.0 is finally back in the game on June 15, 2022.
