PUBG Mobile 2.3 Update Full Details

Discover new football-themed gameplay features with football legend Lionel Messi .

1. New Themed District - Football Carnival

• The mining area has been transformed into the grand Football Carnival.
• Enjoy Middle Eastern architecture in this area full of materials and themed items.
• Use the Zorb Soccer Ball Vehicle to travel fast through the Carnival area by rail.
• There is a Prize Room that opens when the countdown ends. Fight to get the incredible rewards inside!
• For a limited time, there will be launchers around the Football Carnival.
• Spawn Cards will spawn inside the settlement. After receiving this item, players who die within the Football Carnival are given a chance to respawn and jump back onto the battlefield.

2. Football Themed Items, Vehicles and Gameplay Features

♦ Maps: Erangel, Livik, Nusa

• New tactical item - Messi's Golden Shoes: Get and use this item to run fast. This item can be reactivated while running to make a feint move.
• New tactical element - Awesome Soccer Ball: Throw the ball at the opponent's feet with a spin ball. After a short delay, enemies within a certain range are pulled back to where the ball lands.
• New single player vehicle - Zorb Soccer Ball Vehicle: When this item is acquired and used, a giant soccer ball that moves and can be manipulated with a controller envelops the player. By collaborating with their teammates, players can have the Zorb Soccer Ball Vehicle they are in and knock it into the air just like a soccer ball.
• Football Arena (only available on Erangel and Livik maps): Football Arenas spawn in some areas. Go to the specified area and use the Awesome Soccer Balls to score the big goal and open the chests and get rewards. There are also two other small castles hidden around the football field. You can open the chest outside of the arena and get Easter Egg rewards by finding them and sending a Wonderful Soccer Ball to each of them.

The following game mechanics are only available on Erangel:

• Football Flares: All Flares have been replaced by Football Flares. Football Air Assist looks like a soccer ball and can be pushed around by players like a ball.
• Giant Soccer Ball: Large soccer ball-shaped trenches spawn randomly. These balls can be moved, have a certain amount of Health, and explode after taking a certain amount of damage.
• Football-themed Rally Ground: Players can preview and try out game features in the Rally Ground, such as Messi's Golden Boots, Awesome Soccer Balls, Zorb Soccer Ball Vehicle, and soccer ball tracks from the Football Carnival.

The December Snow Festival update will add ice theme to some football elements and will be released on the first day of winter.

PUBG Mobile Official Fate Mode

♦ Playable on: 02/12/2022

• Map updates: The map is based on the latest Livik map.
• Armor upgrades: Armors have been upgraded to fortified Vests with Armor slots on them. Players can install Alloy Armors they collect into slots in their Vests.
• Weapon upgrades: Upgrade Chests will now be available in Outbreak mode. Players can use these chests to upgrade their weapons and increase weapon damage.
• New Energy mechanics: Energy will no longer decrease over time! Energy will now quickly restore Health after taking Damage.
• Consumable edits: Added New First Aid Kits and Energy Drinks. No longer limited to 75 quick Health regens for First Aid Kits! Energy Drinks can be drunk faster to replenish Energy.
• Chests: There are now chests in Outbreak mode too! Find chests to get valuable items and enhancement materials.
• New Sanctuaries: There are a total of 8 Sanctuaries on the map filled with guards. Defeat the guards and get lots of supplies.
• Truck: Trucks will now spawn randomly on the map. Break the lock to collect awesome materials.
• Medicine Cabinet: It is a wall-mounted, interactive medical device. Interact with it to regenerate large amounts of Health.
• Guard Post: There are 4 Guard Posts on the map. Several Guardians and chests will spawn in Guard Posts each match. Defeat them to collect materials.
• Summon Towers: The location of players using the Summoning Tower will be displayed publicly. Players will need to defend for a while to summon their teammates.
• Shop Summons: Players can summon teammates in the shop by spending Shop Tokens.

PUBG Mobile Map Updates

1. Nusa Map Updates

• Chest improvements: Increased chance of finding chests as chests now spawn in more places.
• Building improvements: The detail level brightness of buildings on Nusa map has been improved. Distant buildings will now be more visible.
• Terrain improvements: Fixed some terrains bending.
• Minimap improvements: PCOB minimap performance has been improved to reduce drift.

2. Erangel Map Updates

• Material Warehouse: A special room has been added to the Erangel map, which can be entered with an Entry Pass. This room contains an abundance of advanced materials.
• Stalber improvements: The complexity of some plans has been reduced to improve the Stalber region and make searching the region easier.
• Stalber Cable Car Routes: Three cable car routes have been added to the Stalber area. Players can use the cable cars to move quickly around the area.
• Vehicle Radar: Added Vehicle Radar to the Supply Shop on the Classic Erangel map. You can use this item to find available vehicles around.

3. Livik Map Updates

• Weather System: Added sunrise and sunset to the Livik map to provide a better visual experience.
• Refinery improvements: Minor changes have been made to the environment to improve the combat experience.

PUBG Mobile Weapon and Vehicle Updates

• Improved the reload performance of the NS2000 with its reloading action.
• Handgun Sniper Rifle Buffs

• Base damage increased from 79 to 82.
• Damage multiplier of shots to the limbs increased from 0.475 to 0.55.
• Projectile velocity increased from 760 m/s to 850 m/s.
• The arming speed has been increased and the firing range has been reduced by 30%.

• Damage multiplier of shots to the limbs increased from 0.475 to 0.55.

Core Experience Improvements

1. In-Game Creativity System

• A Creativity System has been added to the game. Creativity Mode can be accessed by tapping the Gesture icon during gameplay. Use different Camera Styles to take creative photos or clips and share your creations.
• The already existing photo-taking features in the Amusement Park and Results page have been integrated into the Creativity System.

2. Battle System

• Adjusted the visual effect of showing/closing the flight path on the minimap.
• Added distance information to the Death Notice for long-range kills.
• After winning a match, the Chat button will remain active for easier sharing.
• Added "Recommended Settings" to settings.
• After being knocked down, the reticle will remain on the screen and can be used to mark.
• Fixed an issue where players would not hear footsteps when jumping and performing a melee attack.
• Adjusted footsteps to better distinguish between enemy and teammates footsteps.
• The minimap will now open when held down and close when released. This feature can be enabled in settings.
• Added new plain markings that do not block the field of view. This feature can be enabled in settings.
• Single Controller controls for Vehicles will automatically use the button size and location set for the Character.

3. Amusement Park

• Added new Penalty Shot and bouncing Zorb Soccer Ball Tool.

4. Call

• Improved the Summon icon in the teammate list, and the notification that no longer Summon can be made more prominent.
• Adjusted the height during spawn on different maps. So players will have more control over where they land.
• Improved the Super Summon flight path in themed modes. Thus, players in a team will be able to organize more easily.

5. Popularity Gifts

• New Popularity Gifts: Super Sports Car, Win Cup, Pan.
• Improved the display of Popularity Gifts on all pages. Improved the internal logic and feedback of the gift receiving and sending processes.
• Improved the display of the Popularity Gift panel and new gifts.
• Improved the icons of Popularity Gifts.

6. Training Ground

Added Training Manikin to Training Field. Players can shoot Training Mannequins wearing different armor and see in real time the damage done by weapons to different body parts with different armor.

• The system recommends Lucky Teammates to players every week during the event. Win Ranked Classic matches with Lucky Teammates to earn additional ranking points.

6. Interaction History with Friends

Players can see detailed teaming data with their friends over the last 6 seasons in the Friends Engagement History.

• It includes team building time, team building wins, team building points and other detailed information.
• Tap on each category to see a more detailed description and when the data was collected.
• Friends with whom you have played a lot are shown on a separate page.
