PUBG Corp. continues to regularly improve PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds with new features such as the event mode, which was officially newly added to PC in December . The developer has announced that it is currently working on another highly requested feature that will be implemented "soon" on the game's test server.
In a post on Steam, PUBG Corp. revealed that it is introducing the ability to choose the map you want to play. "The map selection is something players around the world have consistently asked for," the developer said. "We take your feedback very seriously, but we also want to be careful about how we implement changes in PUBG ."
When this feature is introduced in the upcoming update, players will be able to choose whether they prefer to play on the original Erangel map or the new Miramar when starting a game. If both maps are selected, the game will randomly choose between them. You can see the map selection screenshot below.
