PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2021 , organized by Tencet Games in collaboration with Gamers without Borders, ended with a glorious final yesterday. A total of 32 teams competed fiercely for 4 days in two branches divided into East and West. As a result, the champion of the Western arm raised $352,500 to UNICEF, and the champion of the Eastern arm raised $442,500. Here are the champions, highlights, stats and more!

PMWI 2021 East Champion

Thai team Valdus Esports has become the champion of PMWI 2021 East. Performing impressively from the very beginning, the team won two "chicken dinners" on the first day of the event. At the end of four days, they collected 287 points in total, leaving the Russian team Natus Vincere 63 points behind them to take the lead. East and West also had more “chicken dinners” (4) and the highest kill rate (120) than all teams combined.

Tinnapop “Martin” Benjawong, one of the players of Valdus, was named MVP (most valuable player) of PMWI 2021 . Martin has an average of 399 damage, a total of 7986 damage, and an average survivability of 21 minutes and 4 seconds. However, there is also a stat of 2 kills per game.

PMWI 2021 Western Champion

Coming to PMWI 2021 West, Brazilian team Alpha 7 Esports was the winner of the event. With 119 kills in 20 games and a total of 251 points, the Kazakh team was only 24 points behind Konina Power. KnowMe from Konina Power was named the MVP of the West arm with 8070 damage and 34 kills.

Proud of Turkey, Next Rüya Gaming gave an incredible performance. Our team, which entered the western arm from the fourth place , finished PMWI 2021 in 3rd place with 111 kills and 227 total points . Frozennxx from the team was among the top 5 scorers at the end of the fourth day.

PMWI 2021 Done, Now What?

In the news announced at the end of PMWI 2021, information about PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2021 was also given. According to James Yang of Tencent Games, PMGC will be the biggest PUBG Mobile event ever, with a total prize pool of $6 million.

Just like last year, PMGC 2021 will be divided into leagues and final stages. Leagues continue in November and December 2021, while the finals will be played in January 2022. Developments will be published in the coming months.
