Professional VALORANT player Josh “Steele” Nissan highlighted today that there is a new glitch in the game that is preventing the Ultimate ability from working properly even though it is enabled.
Steele ran into issues twice in one match while using Phoenix. Tried to use the Run It Back ability, which allowed players to spawn at the activation location when killed, but got an error. It's a great tool to use when entering bomb sites, but only when it works properly.

The ability can be seen activating at the bottom of the screen in the video, but was not fully activated in-game. Steele went to the bomb site, hoping to be reborn in a safe place, but was killed instead.
The same issue reoccurred later in the match, and Steele was killed once again instead of respawning.
It's unclear whether the issue affects agents other than Phoenix, but it remains a major issue. Steele sent the clips to Riot Nu, Riot Games' chief software engineer, and confirmed they would take a look at the bug.
This isn't the first problem Steele has faced at VALORANT. Recently, Sage's character got a visual glitch when entering Omen's Mist ability is one of them. Steele also experienced a disable bar bug that caused him to not appear in a match.
