Overwatch Summer Games 2021 is in full swing. As in previous years, the players welcomed Lucioball, the weekly challenges and the summer-themed chirping skins of the characters with great enthusiasm. However, as we enter the second week of the event, fans may have noticed a detail that the designer team overlooked. Ashe 'ssummer-themed skin, called Poolside , was announced on the game's official Twitter page, and the players instantly fell in love with Ashe's new design.

Later, a user on Reddit named Local-Store-491 noticed that Ashe's self-identified tattoos (including the Deadlock Gang tattoo in the character's back story) were not on her summer skin and posted a post about it. “ Am I the only one who thinks that by removing the tattoos on Ashe 's Poolside skin , they damaged the character's authenticity? Is this a system error? Or am I meticulous? [Ashe]'s tattoos appearing at close range (I think) fit her rebellious character very well.”
While there were funny and allusive comments at the bottom of the post, such as “Maybe the tattoo went on vacation too”, “The tattoos were temporary, they were erased”, “I knew tattoos were fading in the sun but this is a bit extreme”, fans are actually a bit confused about this. It is somewhat interesting that tattoos are not included in Ashe's summer skin design, although tattoos remain on Widowmaker's Summer Games skin, or the summer skins of other characters who are already tattooed. We are not yet sure whether this was a deliberate decision or an error. For now, we are waiting to see if Blizzard will make an update on this.
