Blizzard announced via Twitter that PC gamers will be able to preload Overwatch 2 in preparation for its October 4 launch. The game is pre-loadable via Blizzard's Battle.net client . It's worth noting that in order to preload the game, PC players will need to pre -order the Overwatch 2: Watchpoint Pack, which is priced at $39.99. The Watchpoint Pack also includes the Season 1 Premium Battle Pass, 7 Legendary skins, 5 Epic skins, and 2,000 Overwatch Coins.
Overwatch 2 recentlyreceived a launch trailer showing off new heroes coming to the game , new maps, and that it will be free-to-play . The game also received criticism from fans in light of the fact that new heroes added to the gamemust be unlocked from that season's battle pass .
