This week's freebies on the Epic Games Store have been released. From now until April 9, you can get Gone Home and Hob for free. Epic , as usual, announced Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments, an adventure game with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle 's "detective" character next week. Accordingly, Crimes And Punishments will be free starting April 9 at 8:00 am PT / 11:00 ET. You need a free Epic Games account to claim any Epic freebie, and best of all, once you get it, you keep the game.
First released in 2014, Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments is one of many Sherlock games developed by Frogwares . While detective games that draw on great titles like Sherlock Holmes aren't always satisfying, this game looks like a really great adventure game.
In-game, your trusted assistant Dr. You and Watson have six separate inquiries to solve. One of the main game mechanics is to extract clues from each situation and image. Being able to solve each case and allowing the moral choices you can make after finding the culprit to add even more layers to the story will be at the core of the game.
