Following the new map reveal last week, Innersloth has released a new patch Among Us that addresses various balance issues and bugs. For example: You will no longer be able to access through walls to tamper with Polus panels, and mission arrows will no longer show when communications are sabotaged.

Communication sabotage hides mission arrows
Communication red light no longer immediately responds to correct location
Fixed camera drift on security cameras
Fixed wrong admin table in Polus
Fixed Polus panels accessible through walls
Fixed minigame on Polus for iOS
Standalone full reactor / seismic disturbances and bugs fixed
Fixed bugs in the Align fix engine vulnerabilities and softlock task
These gameplay quality improvements are likely to pave the way for more significant changes like the upcoming map, which will likely be announced at the Game Awards in December. In another patch, the overhaul of the game's account system continues with "reporting and moderation" being the major focus in this area.
Also, and if you're playing Among Us on mobile: Due to the prevalence of "inappropriate ads", Innersloth is removing ads by next year in a pretty generous update for a free-to-play game.
