The most played maps in Valorant are mostly old maps loved by the community. Currently Pearl and Fracture have been removed from the competitive map pool. So let's take a look at the most played maps in Valorant in the last 30 days.
5.Breeze
Breeze , the tropical map located in the Bermuda Triangle , was once the largest map in Valorant . The map returned to Valorant with the final Chapter 7 after a major rework. Currently the map is the least played with 7.3% of total matches played in the last 30 days.
Breeze is balanced for both Attackers and Defenders. However, since it has been an Aggressor map since its inception, players have the upper hand when attacking. Additionally, the map rewards players who aim accurately in long-distance combat.
4.split
Split is a map based in Shinjuku, Japan, where the map is split into two sides. Area A of the map depicts the brutal takeover of the Kingdom Corporation, and area B of the map shows the inhabitants struggling for control over their living space. 14.7% of the total matches played in the last 30 days were played in Split.
Split is a Defensive map. If the attackers gain control of the Middle, they can attack zone B or choose to enter the Vents to move to zone A. However, locking Mid leaves Attackers with no choice but to rush through the narrow entry points of both bombsites.
3.Haven
Haven is a monastery located in Alpha Earth's Thimphu, Bhutan. It is Valorant's first map with three bombsites. Haven has been a community-favorite map since the game's launch. 14.8% of the total matches played in the last 30 days were played at Haven.
Haven is a versatile map as it allows players to move to any site they want and play creative games. The map is on the Aggressive side, as they can fill a site that no more than two players will mostly hold. Haven's Garage area is the biggest bottleneck. If the attackers gain control of the Garage, they can switch to C and protect the rotation from the Guardian spawn and site B.
2. Bind
Cypher's homeworld , Bind , is located in Rabat, Alpha Earth's Morroco. Bind is the only map with a Teleporter, allowing players to return to both areas almost instantly. 14.8% of the total matches in the last 30 days were played on Bind.
Bind is heavily supportive of Defenders. The map has narrow entry points, making it difficult for Attackers to enter both areas. Moreover, Bind is an Operator-friendly map for Defenders. Operators can easily hold B-beams or A-beams.
1. ascension
Ascent is the first map added to Valorant, alongside the first three maps. The floating map is located on Alpha Earth in Venice, Italy. Ascent has been the most played map in Valorant since the game's launch. In the last 30 days, 14.8% of the total matches were played on this map, which is the same as Haven and Bind.
Ascent has been a part of many iconic Valorant moments. The map leans towards the Defenders; but Central is the largest transit point on the map. The first team to gain middle control can turn the round in their favor.
The most played maps in Valorant are directly influenced by the leading professional teams and the entire player base since the game's launch. In addition to these maps, Lotus, Fracture and Pearl are also playable in all game modes. Unfortunately, Fracture and Pearl were removed from the Competitive map pool in the last patch due to a general rework based on community feedback.
