Mafia 3 developers opened their new office with Split/Second manager
2K shared little hints about their next project

Mafia 3  developer Hangar 13 is establishing a new studio office in Brighton, England, to be run by Split/Second director Nick Baynes. Baynes is heading to reunion for the studio as he works at Black Rock Studio with Andy Wilson, now VP of development at Hangar 13.

The new team will work alongside existing offices in California and the Czech Republic to collaborate on projects. The current project is an unannounced AAA game for 2K. The announcement said the studio will expand its various locations to keep up with development.

Mafia 3 , the studio's sole advantage , was also moderate in finding the feel of the main game, which portrays excellent characterization and catchy story missions, but is also full of technical issues and controversial.

Still, it was a big-budget premium venture and managed to set records for 2K at the time.
