2K Games is giving away free Definitive Edition upgrades to owners of Mafia 2 on Steam and Mafia 3 on all platforms.

2K games will release Mafia: Definitive Edition, a full remake of the 2002 action adventure for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, on August 28. If you have Mafia II on Steam, you can get the free update. Mafia III's upgrade is free on all platforms (PS4, Xbox One and PC) and provides access to all post-launch DLC. In fact, if you've already installed the original on your console, the game will automatically update to the Definitive Edition and you can request extra content packs in various digital stores as well.
