League of Legends 7.6 Patch Notes

With the new patch of League of Legends, 7.6 patch notes were also presented to the players.

7.6 Patch Notes

Greetings Summoners,

and welcome to Patch 7.6, where Galio is reaping the benefits of his training and starting to leap over half the map in one jump!

This time, we are making some lighter touches than normal, but of course, we do not say that there is no change in this patch period. With Patch 7.6, we are continuing our recent projects such as Aatrox, Commander's Bloodlust, and Varus / Miss Fortune. Interesting fact: Many things are directly buffed, but no debuff we make happens without a counterbalance. We haven't been doing anything like this for a long time.

Gameplay aside, we haven't mentioned the updated client in this intro for a long time. Our team is focused on the client's working health and performance, and while these don't make the patch notes garish, they all come together to produce significant improvements. It's easier to edit ability pages and the champ select experience is more fluid overall. See LoL Client Update for details.

That's it for this patch. Good luck in the Valley as always. See you in the next patch notes!

Aatrox

Aatrox now maintains active Blood Cost / Health Gain hits after respawning and fills his Blood Well.

After the massive change Aatrox went through last patch, and the mid-patch buffs we released right after, not all is settled. We won't be making specific balancing attempts to target specific areas until Darkin Blade's performance is clear, but we're introducing a number of changes that we hope will make life easier by making the resurrection experience more consistent. Also, we couldn't read from the shadow of Dark Flight, or do you think Aatrox's skill descriptions were a bit of a mess? As we can see, the explanations were a bit difficult; so we thought it appropriate to make some adjustments.

Passive - Blood Well

DO NOT MIX ME WITH DRAVENAatrox's buff when his Blood Well is full is no longer called Adrenaline Flood, but Hell's Wrath

SEE NOTHING MORE Blood Well is now filled upon respawn thanks to the Atrox passive

SUMMER BOOK No longer loses the third hit of Health Taker/Blood Charge after Aatrox respawns

DARK IS NOT ALWAYS MYSTERIOUSatrox's passive ability descriptions have been rewritten to be clearer

These changes are already in effect, but we are adding them here as a reminder.

Base Attributes

CAN537.8 ⇒ 580

Q - Dark Flight

COOLDOWN16/15/14/13/12 seconds ⇒ 13/12.5/12/11.5/11 seconds

W - Blood Cost

BASE DAMAGE30/60/90/120/150 ⇒ 45/80/115/150/185

Cho'Gath

R grants more health per stack, and max stacks gained from minions and small monsters increased by one.

When we update a champion, it definitely takes some effort to relearn it. In the Cho'Gath example, this was a little more obvious:   there were already few players who selected him before his update; so  instead of re-  learning   we are witnessing more than just learning. However, we think Cho'Gath remains relatively weak, even for those used to his new self. After all, Cho'Gath is a huge beast, and if he gains some more stamina from the Feast, he might find the flavor he's looking for.

R - Banquet

BONUS HEALTH80/110/140 per stack ⇒ 80/120/160 per stack

MINION / SMALL MONSTER CAP5 stacks ⇒ 6 stacks

Fiddlesticks

Q cast range increased. W restores its remaining duration when its target dies.

Ever since the Pre-Season Updates, Fiddlesticks has been having a hard time clearing out jungle camps, especially sharpbills. While Black Wind is a solid AoE damage tool, Fiddle has no other tool that serves this purpose; therefore, Doomsday Herald is doomed to basic attacks to slap the little birds left after exploiting Crimson Sharpbeak. That's why we're giving Fiddle the opportunity to chain up chicken thighs (as well as other small monsters like tiny rocks, of course) provided they have enough mana.

It'll be like jumping from branch to branch, but we're also reversing the change we made to Dread Raft's cast range last season. At the time, we thought that if Dread Raft had a shorter cast range than Drain, his target wouldn't be able to quickly move out of bond range, so Fiddlesticks would benefit more from the Dread Raft-Exploit combo. In the end, however, those who tried to do the combo quickly were only able to succeed if Fiddle was already within range of the Rage Rage. In other cases, Exploitation thwarted Fiddle's attempts to approach. As this first interaction was perhaps more problematic, we've decided to give the scarecrow back 50 cast range. cack!

Q - Terrify

CAST RANGE525 ⇒ 575

W - Exploitation

NEWCAN I USE TWICE SO? If Exploit's target dies before the channel is complete, the remainder of the channel's duration is gained as cooldown reduction

gnar

Mini Gnar and Mega Gnar have the same health regen.

When Gnar takes the lead, he becomes Mega more often thanks to his nonstop basic attacks and abilities. On the other hand, when Gnar falls behind, he can't safely accumulate the fury he needs to transform, thus missing Mega Gnar's health regen boost. We wanted to balance Gnar's forms in terms of health regen so he can still regenerate some health when he falls behind. However, we think that the change we made will be an empowerment for Gnar in general; after all, even if he doesn't lag behind,   he spends time much smaller than his Mega state.

Base Attributes

HEALTH REGEN (MINI)2.5 ⇒ 4.5 health every 5 seconds

HEALTH REGEN INCREASE (MINI)0.5 ⇒ 1.75 health every 5 seconds

HEALTH REGEN (MEGA)6.5 ⇒ 4.5 health every 5 seconds

HEALTH REGEN INCREASE (MEGA)3 ⇒ 1.75 health per 5 seconds

Mega E - Thumper

BUFF FIXMega Gnar  can queue up another ability during E - Thumb 's cast time

Miss Fortune

Q damage increased. Q and E can be used more fluently.

The combination of lethality, Deathfire Touch, and Double Strike's changes from last patch took a heavy toll on Miss Fortune's power. While these changes are important for maintaining MF's health in the long run, we found it necessary to do a few additional buffs as they cause more weakening than necessary. Double Strike should be getting some of its old influence back, especially in the mid to late game. While it still won't take away three-quarters of the opponent's health, we tried to support it with a Lucian-style fluidity. We believe that thanks to these adjustments, the pirate hunter will be able to develop better until he collects whopping crit items.

Q - Double Hit

DAMAGE20/35/50/65/80 ⇒ 20/40/60/80/100

RATIO0.85 total attack damage ⇒ 1.0 total attack damage

HOW TO PLAY WITH FIRE Cast range now changes based on Miss Fortune's attack range (Ex: Bomb Cannon)

PRECISION TRIGGER Miss Fortune no longer pauses briefly after casting Double Strike

E - Lead Rain

PRECISION TRIGGER Miss Fortune no longer pauses briefly after using Bullet Rain

orianna

Ball no longer returns to Orianna when its attached target dies.

The following short edit is implemented to fix a few bugs that occur when the teammate holding the ball is killed (or rather, when the ball returns to Orianna right after). While trying to fix faulty mechanics, we saw another benefit that we never thought of: One of the cases where you accidentally ult yourself has been reduced!

E - Command: Protect

WAIT! Now when a teammate holding the ball is killed, the ball falls on the spot instead of returning to Orianna

quinn

Bird Catch grants increased attack speed when triggered. Airstrike damage decreased. Quinn transforms into Valor when respawning after R becomes available.

Now imagine a picture like this: A bird pops out of the Fog of War like a firecracker while you hang around. All of a sudden your vision disappears. Then you see, you were murdered. Quinn's burst damage potential combined with her high movement speed gives enemies little time to react to her arrival. We want Quinn's health-boosting combo to give enemies a bit more reaction time, and some of that burst damage shifts to longer-lasting barter.

W - Sharp Senses

BONUS ATTACK SPEED20/25/30/35/40% when Bird of the Bird triggers ⇒ 20/35/50/65/80% when Bird of the Bird triggers

R - Beyond Enemy Lines

AIR ATTACK RATIO100% total attack damage ⇒ 40% total attack damage

NEWRESBORN WITH YOUAfter scoring at least one point in Beyond the Enemy Line, Quinn takes the form of Valor as he respawns after being killed for the rest of the game

varus

Q's refund is no longer reduced by cooldown when Blight is triggered.

The changes Varus underwent last patch were part of a three-step plan to dethrone the Arrow of Vengeance (the other two steps being debuffs from Edge of Night and Deathfire Touch). If we talk about Varus; We attributed Piercing Arrow's cooldown to Varus' desire to use a basic attack to knock down his opponents. We're okay with this  approach  , but we realize we have enough room to give back some of its strength.

Piercing Arrow's cooldown refund mechanic included a buff partially opposed to its cooldown, and  was prior to Piercing Arrow's cooldown debuff. we were not looking forward to an option such as further reduction. However, in the end, Varus still has to use his basic attack to gain the refund, and that was the real improvement we wanted to see. Disabling the counter buff is a plus for Varus, making it easier to understand the return mechanic and better feel the cooldown reduction preferences.

Q - Piercing Arrow

COOLDOWN REFUND ON EVIL TICK4 seconds reduced by cooldown reduction ⇒ 4 seconds

Lux Voiceover Enhancement

We've added a few new lines to Lux's current voiceover. He now has special interactions with champions and is nearly four times more talkative!

Magic Damage Shield UI

Let's get it straight: We're changing the color (which Morgana, Camille, and now Galio use) used to denote magic damage-blocking shields in health gauges.

abilities

Commander's Bloodlust

Now grants health regen instead of lifesteal based on attack power.

The Commander's update in Bloodlust's 7.5 patch does justice to its purpose of creating high-impact special moments in the game. Even if there is an update, wouldn't there be minor roughnesses that need to be retouched? Here, too, the way life stealing works has been rough. Since lifesteal works depending on the damage inflicted, the amount of health you gain can vary with each attack due to factors such as normal attack coefficients and the opponent's armor. Especially when the lifesteal value exceeds 50%, there can be quite significant differences.

There must be instances where the Commander's Bloodlust is very successful, of course, but it shouldn't be more profitable for Caitlyn to headshot a minion than for Caitlyn to hit the enemy's front lines. Switching from lifesteal to healing still preserves the Commander's ability to be a sustaining tool in conflict, and makes it easier to define success: slaying and repositioning any danger that comes your way.

SUSTAINABILITY ADDITION1-18. Grants 1-50% lifesteal at levels ⇒ 1-18. Regenerates 3-40% of total attack damage at levels

CRITICAL HEAL If the attack that triggers Commander's Bloodlust critically strikes, the healing also crits (this effect is increased by items that crit damage, such as the Eternal Sword)

Summoner's Rift

Red Coward

Magic resistance decreased.

In light of the Pre-Season Changes, Red Scarab should be resistant to magic damage, while Blue Watch should show the same durability to physical damage. The values we gave did not match; We also wanted to set a standard.

MAGIC RESISTANCE1/4/8/9/10. 15/20/26/29/30 at levels 15/20/26/29/30 ⇒ 1/3/5/7/8 corresponding to Blue Watch's armor. at levels 10/15/18/19/20

In-Game Options Menu

We increased the size of the Options menu in Patch 7.4 to make it easier to read at higher resolutions. The result is a little too big at the extreme highs,   so we're reducing the change a bit to maintain a sweet size in between.

COMFORTABLE SIZE The size of the options menu has been greatly reduced for vertical resolutions greater than 1200 (smaller size reductions at lower screen resolutions)

EASE TO MOVE The Options menu can now be moved by holding it from any empty space, not just the title bar.

Rotating Game Modes

Attack. Defend. Then again. Central Siege is in transformation from 12:00 March 24 to 04:00 March 28, and from 12:00 March 31 to 04:00 April 4.

SUMMARY LATE:
  • Besiege your opponent's center with unique and unbelievably powerful siege weapons, or put your place down on an opponent coveting your team's center.
  • Destroy the base as soon as possible in attack mode and achieve victory with your team.
  • Average game time: 25 minutes.
Is it simple enough? Then let the festivities begin!

LoL Client Update

We've updated the save mode to be more fluid and provide an even more dramatic increase in performance. We still have a long way to go, but we think most players who are having trouble running the new client will get rid of most performance issues once they have the save mode enabled.

When you activate the save mode, the client is closed while you are in the game, thus increasing the performance of your computer in-game; however, the time you wait to reach the end-game screen may increase slightly, as the client needs to be restarted when your game is finished. We are working on arranging it to turn it on and off according to your requests, based on your comments ; so that in the future you will be able to turn the saving mode on or off without closing the background client.

Most updated client-related issues can be resolved in the Known Issues article on our Support site.

Notable Fixes

  • We've improved the performance of the chat module in champ select by eliminating crashes.
  • Now we expect ability pages to run more smoothly in champ select and collection header with save mode enabled.
  • We rebuilt the readiness check process to increase operational stability and responsiveness.
  • Interactions such as hovering, clicking, and toggling are now more fluid in the champion select grid.
  • Now when you click on the summoner names of "Recently Played" players in the "Add Friend" interface, you will be taken to the summoner's profile whose name you clicked on.
  • You can now invite your friends to your game by right-clicking on the chat panel and view their profiles and watch their matches.
