Director Neil Druckmann has announced that Argentine composer Gustavo Santaolalla, who is responsible for the music of The Last of Us, will lend his musical talents to the HBO show The Last of Us.

As noted, Santaolalla composed the music for Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed action-adventure game The Last of Us in 2013, which won two awards and was nominated for just a few. In addition to The Last of Us, he has composed music for movies and TV shows such as Santaolalla, Brokeback Mountain, Into the Wild, Narcos: Mexico and more.
Santaolalla will also work for The Last of Us Part 2, which launches on PlayStation 4 on May 29.
Druckmann has announced that he is collaborating with Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin to bring The Last of Us to HBO as a limited television series. TLOU2 content is likely to appear in this new HBO TV show, and Druckmann recently said that some characters from the upcoming sequel may appear.
