Khan Joins DAMWON Gaming and Nuguri Might Be Heading to FPX

2020 League of Legends World Champions DAMWON Gaming may not continue season 11 with the same roster. DAMWON Gaming has recruited former FunPlus Phoenix and T1 top laner Kim "Khan" Dong-ha, which could lead to Jang "Nuguri" Ha-gwon switching teams very soon. In a tweet, DAMWON Gaming said Khan is able to: "Based on his eight years of experience as a professional player, adding more skill to the team and experience in general." Season 10 of League of Legends wasn't exactly impressive for Khan. After leaving SKT in 2019, where he had a promising year, he moved to FunPlus Phoenix, where he shared the top laner role with Kim “GimGoon” Han-saem. However, Khan failed to impress the LPL and, starting with season 11, will be returning to home territory, competing with DAMWON Gaming in the Spring and Summer divisions. FPX had a tough time at the LPL Summer Split 2020. They finished 8th in the regular group and lost 3-2 to Invictus Gaming in the Regional Finals. DAMWON Gaming will enter the new season with Khan, Canyon, ShowMaker, Ghost and BeryL. DAMWON Gaming's Nuguri Might Go to FPX With Khan joining DAMWON, World Champion Nuguri may be considering joining another organization for season 11. The LPL could be the league of choice for Nuguri in season 11, and the chances of signing up for a Chinese team are pretty high. FunPlus Phoenix might be the team Nuguri would want to join as after Khan left his side the team may need to fill the void he left behind and Nuguri might be perfect for the place.
