The tweet from the Crysis account excited the fans of the whole series.

Electronic Arts seems to be trying to tell something about the Crysis series after a long period of silence for the Crysis brand. The official Twitter account tweeted a message for the first time in years, which indicates that an announcement is on the way. The tweet doesn't give us a lot of clues. The tweet simply says "Receiving Data". But it's also the first tweet from the account since December 2016, so we can easily understand that this message came or pointed to something on purpose.

This could point to anything from a new Crysis game to a new remaster. The last game, Crysis 3 , was released in 2013 by developer Crytek . The company closed some studios in 2015 due to financial difficulties and most recently released Hunt: Showdown in 2018. The comments on the game review sites were quite positive. "It's wonderful to see Crysis 3 successfully portraying an uneasy partnership between the natural and the artificial," one review said . “As the story progresses, the conflict deepens and the visuals get darker, as if you can feel the evil spreading all over the city. It is unfortunate that the game's predecessors did not reach their heights. The campaign is less than a few hours short.Crysis 2 , and it doesn't reproduce the excitement that brightened previous games. But on its own terms, this is a full-featured sci-fi game that makes extraterrestrial abominations so much fun to experience.
