How to Get Valorant Beta Key

Link your Riot and Twitch accounts and make sure Drops are enabled in their titles
Watch Valorant streams on Twitch
In the second week of beta, Riot expanded which streams can actually drop beta invites. Initially, only Twitch streamers specially selected by Riot to drop invites can do this, meaning you can only watch certain streams for access. But now, any Twitch streamer with access to the closed beta can drop beta invites for their viewers as long as they stream Valorant. This doesn't increase the number of invites that go out, but expands your options for getting into the beta.

This first beta will be limited to players in the US, Europe, Canada, Russia, Turkey and CIS countries. More regions may be supported later, but Riot said this is "pending developments with the current COVID-19 outbreak." You can find more information in the announcement section on Valorant's official website.

How Long Do I Need to Watch Streams to Get a Beta Invitation?
According to Riot, you need to watch about 2 hours of Valorant streams to be able to participate in a closed beta invite. Viewers who watch more Valorant streams for hours are given a higher "weight", which means your chances of getting an invite should be increased, but - as Riot puts it - "it's still not guaranteed." Riot also provided more details on how closed beta entitlements work at a technical level to address some fans' concerns. It has also begun the process of manually rewarding the "most interested Valorant stream viewers" with beta invites as a thank you to fans .

How Valorant Closed Beta Invite Drops Work
Riot recently revealed how closed beta entitlements work for Valorant, as many people watch their Twitch streams without an invitation sign. You can read more about it in Riot's blog post, but according to Riot, the Valorant beta invites work differently than the regular drops on Twitch. Among their clarifications, Riot states that a certain percentage of invite-eligible invites have been granted "day and night" access to Valorant closed beta excluding server outages, with the exception of pausing invites. The selection is always random and there is no guarantee that you will get one, as watching more Valorant streams will increase your chances of getting an invite.

According to Riot, Twitch doesn't need to be running to receive a Drop (beta). Once you've met the 2 hours or longer viewing requirement, you'll be eligible to receive an invite during Riot's next " authorization wave ".

You will be able to use any Valorant Points you purchased during the closed beta and receive a 20% bonus as a thank you from Riot when the game starts.

How Long Does the Valorant Beta Last?
According to Riot, the Valorant closed beta will be "short," but it's ready to rethink the beta period based on player feedback. On beta launch day, Valorant set a Twitch record for single-day view counts, so it's definitely popular, as there are plenty of gamers still trying to access the beta weeks after its launch.

When Is Valorant Coming Out?
Riot Games hopes to launch Valorant in "Summer 2020", but hasn't given a more specific release date.
