Some of the abilities that will give voice to the Hogwarts Legacy characters were recently confirmed in a new trailer and press release. Sebastian Croft and Amelia Gething will play two voice options for the game's main playable character, and these performances can be further customized with pitch settings.
The big news, however, is that British actor Simon Pegg (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) will be playing Phineas Nigellus Black, the grumpy Headmaster of Hogwarts at the time Hogwarts Legacy was filmed.
Other key members of the voice cast include Luke Youngblood, who plays Lee Jordan in the Harry Potter film franchise, playing Everett Clopton, a hybrid Ravenclaw student described as a "failed rule-breaker and prankster." Jason Anthony will voice both the Gryffindor ghost Nearly Headless Nick and the Sorting Hat, and Lesley Nicol will play Professor Matilda Weasley, the Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts.
Lastly, the cast will feature Kandace Caine as Professor Onai, the Divination teacher, Sohm Kaplia as the Astronomy teacher, Professor Satyavati Shah, and Asif Ali as another Ravenclaw student named Mahendra Pehlwaan, a muggle-born obsessed with rules.

Hogwarts Legacy takes place in the late 1800s, and Harry Potter was born on July 31, 1980, so don't expect to be shoulder to shoulder with The Boy Who Lived as you walk the halls of Hogwarts. This also means that her best friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger won't either.
Sure, there is time travel in the Harry Potter universe, but the development team answered that question with a firm "no" on the game's own website, so don't expect time-turners to stand out.

Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition will be released on different platforms and the price will be different for PS and Xbox Series X. This DLC pack includes an exclusive Dark Arts cosmetic set, a flying Thestral mount, and access to the Dark Arts Battle Arena, where you can test your mastery on the sinister side of magic against waves of formidable enemies.
The Collector's Edition includes all of the aforementioned Deluxe Edition content plus a life-size physical floating magic wand with a book base, a collectible steel book case, and an in-game Kelpie Robe.
