Halo: The Master Chief Collection continues to be available to PC as the first beta test for Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for some users.
Those who are accepted to the beta will receive an email with instructions on how to get started. Invitations can be sent to Spam, so be sure to check if the invitation appears in your regular inbox.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC currently only includes Halo: Reach, which preceded Halo: Combat Evolved. As this is just the first beta test for Halo: CEA, it will take some time before the game is officially released on PC.
Halo: After CEA, Microsoft will release Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo 4 on PC via the Master Chief Collection. Each game will be beta tested prior to its official launch.
Halo for PC: In addition to MCC, Microsoft is developing a brand new Halo game, Halo Infinite, which is a launch title for the Xbox Series X. In addition to the game, Microsoft is introducing a new game engine, Slipspace, laying the groundwork for the future of the franchise.
