And yesterday in the European First Strike Valorant qualifying game between the Guild and G2 Esports , the former player used a heavily punished exploit on Ascent .

RIOT officials have discovered that during their game on 11/13 Guild Esports used an exploit against G2 Esports. Exploits are prohibited under Rule 7.2.6 of the Global Competition Policy and as such Guild have been handed a forfeit loss.
Guild Esports was forfeited in the game for using the Ascent B-zone buff strategy with Killjoy 's turret and Sage's wall. However, although G2 will make its way into their next game, all of Guild Esports won't be prevented from taking part in the Qualifiers, which will take place next week.
In a recent tweet, Valorant developers wrote: "An update on VALORANT First Strike: Europe. RIOT officials discovered that Guild Esports used an exploit against G2 Esports during their match on 11/13. Abuses, Global Competition It is prohibited under Rule 7.2.6 of its Policy, and as such, the Guild was forfeited."
