Fortnite Season 4 has officially started, which means a new Battle Pass and you'll be tackling weekly challenges. There's something new this season, there's something hidden in the Tier 1 novelties, if you're keen to explore, Fortnite is waiting for you to do your best.
Along with the Battle Stars you earn, completing the first leg of Blockbuster challenges clears up a loading screen called Quiet in Set. This allows you to customize what you see on the pre-match loading screen before matchmaking.
With the movie equipment added to the island in the new update, the image shows a scene shot near the prison. In the background is a very faint line of a War Gate icon (you can see it below, above the tower behind the aliens' heads). During a match you can navigate to that location in the game and find the icon (this location is shown on the map below). Note, however, that you must complete all Week 1 challenges to get noticed; First you have to walk up to there. This means you have to purchase the Season 4 Battle Pass to get it .
The blockbuster challenges are one of two new difficulty categories for Season 4. Each Blockbuster involves completing all the challenges in a given week, each offering a loading screen reward as we mentioned above. At this point, we don't yet know if future Blockbuster rewards will also lead to secrets like this free Battle Pass tier, but you'll definitely see that in Week 2 challenges.
