There are various national teams in FIFA 23 . The game features both men's and women's teams, and players can choose between them depending on the game mode they want to play. FIFA 23 is the last game in the series under the iconic name because the license between FIFA and EA Sports will expire next year. EA Sports had already announced that a World Cup mode would be available for the men's and women's national teams.
While the majority of national teams have been retained from previous versions of FIFA, a few more have been added in the latest version. There have also been some removals due to licenses and other factors.

men's football
The men's national teams in FIFA 23 come with newly updated rosters. They can be selected from the 'International' tab in different game modes during squad selection . These national teams can be used for exhibition kick-offs and even special tournaments.
With the upcoming addition of World Cup mode , more countries are likely to be added to this game version. The full list of all men's national teams currently available in FIFA 23 :
One notable omission from the list is Russia, which was removed from the list due to the country's ongoing geopolitical conflict with Ukraine. It is not yet known whether Russia will be added to the game in future patches to preserve the originality of the FIFA World Cup mode.

women's football
EA Sports stepped into women's football in 2016, but has not added club teams to the series so far. With the addition of Barclays WSL and D1 Arkema, women's club teams will be included in FIFA 23 for the first time.
Teams will be available in game modes such as Kick Off, Online Seasons, Co-op Seasons, Online Friendlies and Tournaments. There are currently 24 club teams to choose from.

It is not yet known which women's national teams will be added as post-launch content. EA Sports announced that the FIFA Women's World Cup will also be added to the game. However, he did not announce the dates of the mode. Many are expecting it to arrive just before the tournament kicks off in Qatar.
