FUT Friendlies is a game mode within Ultimate Team that allows you to play online or with your friends. It's a fun and relaxed way to play FIFA. There are three ways to play in FIFA 23 FUT Friendlies . In other words, you can decide how you want to play and against whom you want to play:

The matches you play in FUT Friendlies are slightly different from the other matches you will play in FIFA Ultimate Team . This means that when you play FUT Friendlies:
– Your matches do not exhaust your players' contracts;
– The matches you play do not count towards your Club record;
– Injuries and red cards do not continue;
– Credit items will not be consumed. For example, you can use a Credit Item with 1 game remaining in a FUT Friendlies match and it will not use their last remaining matches;
– You will continue to receive base match Coin rewards for all FUT Friendlies you play.
Statistics
Protect your rights at the highest level with an in-depth stats tracking system that records a range of stats from the head-to-head matches you play. Use statistics to analyze and refine your game plan, change your pre-game tactics, and prepare for each match. With an array of detailed, immersive information, FIFA 23 lets you approach every match just like you would a real football match, using tactics and strategies gleaned from your statistics.
Tracked Statistics includes wins, losses, draws, percentage of wins, goals scored, goals allowed, goal difference, goal types (out of box, penalties, free kicks etc), net goal heatmap, shot on goal percentage, total shots on goal. In addition to tracking scores, new opponent scout reports help you identify where you might find gaps in your friend's playstyle.
Co-op Play
Invite a player using the Friend List in the lower right corner of the FUT main menu. After accepting, you can choose to play Friendlies from the Co-op Lobby . These matches are against random online opponents. The Lobby Captain can choose which Friendship type to play.
Getting matched
Live FUT Friendlies matchmaking is based on two factors:
1) Your location: This determines which FIFA game data center location will give you the best connection for your match.
2) Your current division from Rivals: Your Ranking is used to identify competitors with similar skills to ensure fair matches.

To access FUT Friendlies, simply go to the "Play" tab and select "FUT Friendlies". The mod has 11v11 Classic gameplay. There are ten match types in FUT Friendlies :
Classic Match
A classic match with official rules. The traditional 11v11 matches the usual rules, similar to the kickoff mode. It is the default option and a favorite of old style gamers.
Head Kicks and Penalties
Goals will only count from a header or a volley hit. Free Kicks and Penalties are also counted. In this type of match, you can only score a goal with a header or a volley. Free kicks and penalties are also counted, but other goals scored using your feet are not allowed, except for volleys.
King of the Hill
Fight to increase the number of points worth your next goal and to stay within the control zone. In King of the Hill, players battle for possession of marked control zones. It combines the power of dribbling in the control zone with the target value meter, making the focus of the game different than ever before.
A control zone will appear in the offensive zone, where you have to get the ball in and then continue checking as the field narrows and your target meter starts to fill up.
If a player is not in control of the ball within a control zone, the support will gradually decrease. Goals scored without any support will not be worth points. Balance your chances between having the ball and pushing for a maximum of 3 goals and then try to get on the field and score a goal. No fouls on King of the Hill.
Live FUT Friendlies
Combining Squad Rules with different House Rules in Friendlies. Squad Rules are team building requirements that force you to consider the type of team you will bring to the match. Sometimes Live Friendlies are matched to Goals with a limited number of total games.
Long distance
Goals scored inside the penalty area are counted as one, and goals scored outside the penalty area are counted as 2.
Maximum Chemistry
Every player on your team will have the maximum chemistry boost! Teaming restrictions have been removed in Maximum Chemistry and a full boost has been added to players' Chemistry regardless of their position or affiliation in the squad.
By enhancing chemistry, it allows you to create manga without any negative effects and try new manga combinations with the full power of chemistry styles.
Mystery Ball
Every time the ball is out of play, it can return as a new "Mystery Ball", providing a powerful boost to the attacking side. When Mystery Ball enters the game as a new mystery ball type, it brings the element of surprise every time the ball leaves the game. When the ball is out of play, a new Mystery Ball is added, providing a powerful boost to the attacking side.
Each ball has a specific target value ranging from 1-3 goals; this means that some goals will score more points than others and empower the player he has with high level effects that take Shooting, Dribbling, Passing, Sprinting. The speed that brings each of the other effects at the same time, or all four at once. Every game of Mystery Ball will be random.
No rules
A classic match with no offsides, fouls or reservations. Illegal matches take the classic 11v11 game and remove offsides, fouls and bookings.
Survival
When a goal is scored, a random player from the scoring side, excluding the goalkeeper, is removed from the match. In Survival, a random player from the scoring team, excluding the goalkeeper, is removed from the match.
swaps
Three players will be randomly replaced with your opponents before the match. With a substituted player, the score is worth 2.
In trades, at the start of each game, both teams randomly swap three players for the entire match. You can tell the changed players on the field by the aprons they wear. Will you take your opponent's best three and replace them with some of your bronze starts? Or will you experience what it's like to play with different players you've never used before? You can win your opponent's star player, but you can also lose your own.
As an added bonus, if you score a goal against your friend with one of their players, you will be awarded 2 points for that goal. Exclusively in FUT, Swaps do not allow substitutions. It brings a team-building approach to spades and offers fun opportunities to use your friends' players against them.
