FUT Heroes is EA Sport's way of bringing back true club legends. As you know from previous years, this World Cup year will also have a new FUT promotion. Heroes will be upgraded and the standard Heroes version will become the World Cup version in November.
Twenty new Heroes join the previous selection in FIFA 23 , giving you more premium options for your team. If you pre-order FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition before August 21st, you'll receive a random Player Hero item on November 11 that you can freely use on your team . This FIFA World Cup Hero Item cannot be sold on the transfer market and will be upgraded based on the respective national team's FIFA WC 2022 results.
Just like with FIFA 22, it looks like FIFA 23 Heroes will be available in Ultimate Team from launch. There were multiple types of Hero cards in FIFA 22, so expect to see different versions of these cards as FIFA 23 progresses.

Ultimate Team Heroes are players who are not legends. That is, players who didn't make it to the icons rankings, but made a big impact in their club or league, or were associated with a particular event. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (CL final 1999) and Diego Milito (CL final 2010) are prime examples of this.
The new Heroes in FIFA 22 were a welcome addition to FIFA Ultimate Team . David Ginola in particular has been a meta-god for a long time and has been on many teams.

FUT Heroes have a unique league-specific chemistry linked to their Hero moments. It provides green club link to every player in the same league, normal nationality link is also provided.

You can follow the heroes on the EA site. If you pre-order FIFA 23 by August 22 , you will receive a non-tradable World Cup FUT Hero . You will also be able to luckily withdraw FUT Heroes from packs or buy them from the transfer market.
For every new FUT Hero in FIFA 23, there will be two versions of the FUT Hero item : the base version and the FIFA World Cup version. The regular version celebrates them for club moments, while the upgraded World Cup version celebrates international matches.
Similar to Icon Prime Moments cards, World Cup cards represent a famous performance on the world's biggest stage, especially from FIFA 23 Heroes. For example, Park Ji-Sung's World Cup card could be based on his performance in the 2010 group stage match against Greece. Ji-Sung scored South Korea's second goal in the match, becoming the first Asian player to score in three consecutive World Cup finals.
FIFA World Cup FUT Hero items will be available in FIFA 23 starting November 11, 2022Therefore, we assume that the FUT promo for the World Cup in Qatar will also start during this period.
