FIFA 22 's future this year has been officially confirmed by developer EA. FIFA 22 is the first series to be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X. The development team at EA Vancouver promises the game will take full advantage of the power of next-gen consoles. Some lucky players had the opportunity to try FIFA 22 in practice, thanks to the recently completed closed beta . However, as the EA Play Early Access period will begin, those who cannot catch up with the closed beta will not have to wait too long.
FIFA 22 will be officially released on October 1, 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch simultaneously . As usual, the Nintendo Switch version will be classified as a "Legacy Edition", which essentially means it won't have any new features and will be no different from the previous year's updated lineups and kits.

It is also worth noting that unlike last year, the FIFA 22 standard edition does not provide access to both the PS4/PS4 and Xbox One/Xbox Series X versions of the game. However, if you buy FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition, you will get Dual Authorization and 4 days early access to the game.

Your progress during the EA Play Early Access period will carry over to the full game. So if you collect a mega-star player, you won't lose the card when you upgrade. You will also receive some extra items in your FUT account just for participating.
If you can't wait until October 1, EA Play subscribers will be able to play FIFA 22 for up to 10 hours starting this Wednesday (September 22). This Early Access trial will be available on every system, except Nintendo Switch, and players will have access to the full FIFA 22 FUT 22 mode.
